While filming Mrs Doubtfire, Robin Williams would often wear the makeup and costume of Mrs Doubtfire and roam the streets of San Francisco. Once he went to a sex toy shop to buy a large toy.

Robin Williams was really close friends with Christopher Reeve. When Christopher Reeve had an accident and was being prepared for a critical surgery, Robin Williams dressed as a proctologist and appeared in his room to say he was there to give him a rectal exam. Christopher said that was the first time he laughed since the accident. Sadly, Christopher Reeves died a few days later.
Robin Williams’ wife believed that his depression contributed very little to his suicide. As per her, it was Diffuse Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s that caused him to commit suicide.
